The Ministry of Health in Gaza said on Tuesday that the Israeli occupation forces committed during the past 24 hours 15 massacres that left 207 martyrs and 338 injured, bringing the total toll since the beginning of the war to 22 thousand and 185 martyrs, and 57 thousand and 53 wounded.

Today, 4 Palestinians were killed as a result of Israeli shelling on the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip, and Israeli warplanes launched a raid on the Juhr al-Dik area, east of the central region.

For its part, the Palestinian Red Crescent said that the occupation targeted the eighth floor of the association's headquarters in Khan Yunis, which led to the death of a number of martyrs and injuries among the displaced.

At the same time, a large number of martyrs' bodies arrived at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

Al-Jazeera correspondent said that a child was killed and others were wounded after gunfire from an Israeli march on the market of the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The correspondent also reported that one Palestinian was killed and another wounded in an Israeli shelling at the entrance to the Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, Al Jazeera correspondent said that Israeli artillery shelling targeted the northern and eastern outskirts of Gaza City, and reported the outbreak of clashes between the Palestinian resistance and the occupation forces in camps in the central Gaza Strip.

Scenes of destruction

Meanwhile, the withdrawal of the Israeli occupying forces from the Old City of Gaza revealed extensive destruction of most of its sites, including the market and the Omari Mosque. Journalist Assem al-Nabih monitored scenes of destruction from the scene.

Al-Fayrouz Towers area (northwest of Gaza City) was also reduced to rubble after the withdrawal of the occupation forces from the area, leaving destruction that concealed its most prominent features.

The withdrawal revealed the bodies of Palestinian martyrs left in the streets, some decomposing and some beginning to decompose.

Anadolu Agency quoted eyewitnesses as saying that the occupation army completed early on Tuesday its withdrawal from the port of Gaza City, the beach camp and the neighborhoods of Sheikh Radwan, Al-Daraj, Al-Shujaiya, Al-Tuffah and Al-Zaytoun.

The agency reported that Israeli forces had repositioned themselves on the eastern outskirts of Sheikh Radwan, Shujaiya, Zeitoun and Tuffah.

The decline follows the Israeli army's demobilization of a number of its brigades involved in the ground offensive that began on October 27 on the Gaza Strip.

On the other hand, Adnan Abu Hasna, spokesman for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), said that the agency began a week ago to bring aid to the Gaza and northern governorates, for the first time since the end of the temporary truce, which lasted a week and ended on the first of last December.

Abu Hasna explained – in a statement to Anadolu Agency – that the average number of trucks that enter daily for about a week is estimated at about 5-7 trucks, loaded with foodstuffs.

This aid does not meet the needs of residents of Gaza and the north, he said, noting that tens of thousands of them are starving.

He also pointed out that the humanitarian aid entering the Gaza Strip in general does not meet 7% of the needs of the population of all food and relief supplies.
